How to get?
By road
The highway connects with Bilbao and the A-1 and A-8 motorways.
The Ugaldebieta highway connects Barakaldo with all the regions of the Left Edge and Miner Area, and connects as well with Cantabrian Motorway, being the fastest way to go to Cantabria.
The Rontegi’s bridge comunicates with the Airport and the Right Edge regions.
CN-634 Irún – La Coruña national road takes us to the Miner Area.
CC-639 country road, which goes from Barakaldo to Santurtzi.
And a whole road network and secondary ways that link up different places and neighbourhoods.
By metro
It only takes 16 minutes to get to Barakaldo from Bilbao, thanks to line 2 of the metro.
By train
Barakaldo is communicated with the different city centres through various train lines.
It only takes 12 minutes to get to Barakaldo from Bilbao.
