Most of the refugees were in an old Róntegui hospital that was not used for health purposes. In addition, this hospital, and as Koldobika López points out (p. 108), was already enabled and lived in it by people who had lost their homes due to the bombings.
It had been an old leper colony or abandoned hospital where those with infectious diseases were taken in the 1920s.
Currently this old hospital does not exist.
