The Cooperativa de Casas Baratas “El Ahorro” was created in 1929 to house the growing working population of Barakaldo, thanks to its booming industry.
According to the historian Koldobika López, several of these houses were destroyed although no date of the bombing is given.
The group of cheap houses “El Ahorro” still stands on the street of the same name. There are no traces of the bombing.
