The set of houses “La Tribu Moderna”, in the Bagaza neighborhood, was created in 1925 thanks to the impulse of 50 partners, AHV workers, who paid with a contribution in cash and another in working hours until the cost of the construction site.
The houses were distributed next to the Franco-Belgian railway line, today Paseo Dolores Ibarruri.
The Board of Directors prior to the purge was made up of three people from the left, two from the Basque Nationalist Party, one from the right and one person affiliated with the UGT. The new board will be made up of seven people, all of them from the right except one traditionalist.
